Abbotsbury Beachcombers' Village Fête
Vintage vehicles, a dog show, craft stalls, kids activities, and more cake than is strictly necessary. Our annual summer gathering for the whole village and beyond.
The Village Fête is when Abbotsbury properly shows off. Expect a line-up of gleaming vintage cars, lorries and tractors, a dog show that takes itself far too seriously, craft and bric-a-brac stalls (Steptoe's Corner is a fixture), games, raffles, live music, and a BBQ that never quite has enough burgers for demand.
It's free to enter, family friendly, and about as "proper Dorset knees-up" as it gets. Every stall, raffle ticket and cup of tea helps raise money for local charities and community projects.
What to expect
Classic cars, vintage lorries and tractors on display, a dog show, children's games and activities, craft and bric-a-brac stalls, BBQ food and drink, and raffles with genuinely decent prizes.

What to expect
Vintage vehicles
Classic cars, lorries and tractors polished within an inch of their lives, and their owners keen to tell you about them.
Stalls and games
Craft stalls, Steptoe's Corner bric-a-brac, tombola, raffles and children's games across the field.
The BBQ
Burgers, sausages and drinks all afternoon. It never quite has enough burgers, which is a compliment.
